Weighted Quilt Prototype
A bespoke two-piece quilt commissioned by Current Objects, a curated collection of architect-designed objects, for their inaugural issue. Project completed in collaboration with Ben Dooley.

The Weighted Quilt Prototype is intended for camping, picnics, laying on, laying under, sticking your arms or head through and wearing as a cape while eating cereal late at night, moving furniture, moving boxes, fort making, sound dampening, carpeting, maybe, and more.

The Prototype is made of lightweight ripstop nylon and fleece, with 3M Thinsulate inside. Each quilt has nine buttons and nine button holes. Each padded buttons weighs two pounds. The quilts can be together or apart.
